Here's a deep-dive conversation into what Orthodoxy is, what it isn't, where Catholicism fits into the big picture, and how it contrasts with Protestantism with Father Paul Truebenbach of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. We filmed this on a separate visit from the tour video I published last week.

This priest needs to make his own channel, the way he describes the faith is so solid.

I’m part of the Romanian Orthodox Church. This made my day and it’s so nice to see someone trying to know the Orthodox faith without disdain. Christ is risen! Hristos a-inviat!

I have been a member of an Fundamentalist Evangelical church for 15 years. The sanctuary resembles a concert venue. My parents converted to Orthodoxy in their 70s. Unfortunately they don’t live in the same city as me. I have grown to love their church. I feel a much deeper connection to Christ. I will go to an orthodox service here occasionally. Unfortunately my husband is extremely fundamentalist. I know in my heart I need to pursue Orthodoxy. Pray for me.

As a Catholic, the Orthodox Church has always intrigued me. I’ve always viewed them as cousins that we aren’t allowed to see because our parents are fighting.

I am bumping against 70 years. 33 years as an Evangelical Protestant, 34 years as a Roman Catholic, and almost 3 years as an Eastern Orthodox. I feel that I have been on a journey to understanding and loving my Christian faith.

To all not orthodox here, please if you ever have the chance come to greece (or in any orthodox country-we have similar celebrations) to experience orthodox Easter and the miracle of holy fire. It's a life changing experience.

I am Ethiopian Orthodox Church member. I just want to say some few things about Orthodox. There are many things that the world didnt understand about Orthodoxy. JESUS CHRIST is worshiped without any limitation and fully. Everything that we do in our church has its own meaning and emphasis. We have crystal clear teaching on Trinity, Jesus Christ, salvation, Virgin Mary, Saints and

All the best, man. There is a centuries-old difference between us Orthodox and you Protestants, especially between the European East and the West. So from my point of view, your efforts to understand differently not only religion but also culture are worth admiring. Just keep it up, greetings from the Serbian Orthodox.

I am not Christian but by God I love this, the amount of respect they have for eachother despite their differences is wholesome. This is how people from different religions should talk to eachother not with hatred and violence.
