Thank you for this post….. significantly I related to the “urgency” of chemotherapy when diagnosed with an autoimmune disease…. On reflection choice was trumped by Oncology spiel …. However after 3 rounds of chemotherapy I fired the worst antagonist to my disease, the medical specialists…. despite their negative prognosis I am still here after 12 months for 2 reasons I decided that quality of life is superior to quantity and so I strictly embrace Ketogenic Diet and listen almost religiously do to Dr Gundry….. I am 78 skinny but healthy and enjoy eating once a day with little effort AND I have developed keto to an almost fine art. Life and my lifestyle is A1 and while I can remain this positive with the help of expert food nutritionists the disease will always be behind me. Dr Gundry…. Olive Oil and sheep’s cheese never tasted so good! Thank you for everything

Cipro paralyzed me and gave me 2 autoimmune diseases. It was given as a prophylactic for a UTI I didn't actually have.
Sometimes what antibiotics do isn't repairable

Kelly, I can't express how disappointed I am with this podcast. I'm a Medical Medium follower and I thought you were too (especially when I heard him on your show). I'm very confused how you can have Dr. Gundry, on your podcast and let him preach his beliefs, unchecked by you. In the past, Dr Gundry has said eating ripe bananas is bad for you and it's better to consume green, unripe, bananas. Dr. Gundry has previously said that it's better to drink red wine that eating grapes because of the sugar content in grapes but he never mentions the debilitating effects of the alcohol in wine, especially for the chronically ill. He also condemned eating mangoes because of their "sugar" content. He doesn't differentiate between processed (Bad) cane sugar and (Good) natural fruit sugar in his views. I know it's easy to believe a distinguished cardiothoracic surgeon from Yale and his beliefs on healthy eating but I believe his views can be more harmful than helpful, especially for your listeners that are chronically ill and are searching for answers. Therefore, It seems extremely contradictory and negligent that you will let this guest tell your listeners to eat cheeses on their charcuterie boards while drinking champagne and at the same time interjecting some intelligent sounding Neu5Gc language (to make everything sound believable). He continues by saying that by eating fermented (salt cured) meats, to create Nue5Ac foods in order to displace the Nue5Gc in your gut, will be better for your health!!. You seemed to enjoy this particular segment because you like imported cheeses and he considers aged cheeses an acceptable alternative. I'm am not attempting to pass any judgment on you because I believe your podcast and most of your guests are terrific and well meaning but If you were truly in this world to find and spread the truth about health and wellness and not just placate your guests so you can garner more listeners, you should be better prepared. Perhaps do some research and, some times, challenge your guests on what they're saying and their topics of discussion. I think that would be more beneficial to you followers, instead of having different guests that contradict one another (like Anthony William, aka Medical Medium, and Dr Gundry). I've been a fan of your podcast since you started but I must say that if this is the path you're going to pursue, I won't be following much longer.
