Great video! Currently in engineering and have an exam in 4 hours, haven't slept and I'm stressing out. You've done a good job of making the study process a little easier.
Cheers.

Great video! You made it so simple to understand. Thanks!
While you were solving the EXAMPLE for the critically damped case ( c^2 = 4*m*k), I think the 2nd term in the solution should be (C2)*t*exp(-4*t) and NOT (C2)*x*exp(-4*t).
Please clarify!

On the off chance you see this and this video is confusing, 4mk and c^2 come from the auxiliary/characteristic equation being put into the quadratic formula.

i would suggest drawing the actual damper with the spring since u r talking about a model that contains a damper, it confused the heck out of me when my professor did this, i thought damping was some kind property of a spring. another thing would be helpful but not necessary is a quick note on how you combined cos+sin function into a single cos function using trig. overall the content is great. might need to work a little bit on your speaking though, it sounds like you recorded without any practice. or u r just nervous lol

Your explinations are very good, and you clearly lay out steps and equations to solve test problems, but your note writing (size, organization, clarity) make this video a bit difficult to follow. Thanks for the help!!
