Her emotion at him leaving, is a combination of her caring about him now, and the overwhelming realization of loneliness of space. I think that kind of loneliness would destroy anyone.

The most touching part about this scene is the fact that earlier in the film, they agree to only be 90% honest with each other. Meaning there is 10% room for dishonesty. And that is what he references there. "You said we had enough for the both of us" "We agreed remember? 90%"

Whats even cooler is you can tell Cooper and TARS discussed this plan beforehand. TARS says "See you on the other side" and her facial expression is like "Uhh, what?" but it doesn't hit her until the plan is announced. Good acting, good screenwriting, good music, good visuals, good film. Highly recommend watching with a good sound system lol.

When coop said "see you there slick" you can see the momentary confusion in Brand's eyes before she really finds out what's going on. Like she's internally saying "wtf is that supposed to mean?" Just one of the subtle moments I love in this movie.

Brand's face is TRUE FEAR, Cooper was sure that he was probably going to die, he knows his fate, that's why he said "see you in the other side" but Brand's fate is loneliness, in a place where humankind depends on her, alone, for the rest of her life. Just imagine yourself for a moment in that situation.
