4:00 “See you on the other side, Coop!” I love how this instantly foreshadows Cooper preparing to drop himself into Gargantua…

Damn the acting in this movie is so good. The look on Brand's face after she realizes she'll be alone and the way she says "don't, " is honestly pretty depressing.

that confusion in Brand’s face when TARS said “goodbye” to her but “see you” to Cooper

If you watch this (starting at 4:22) without any context, you could think that Brand was the one in Ranger 2 and Cooper is tossing her into the black hole to save himself.

They modelled the black hole almost flawlessly, the "picture" we now have must have given the producers so much satisfaction, to see they did, on theoretical basis, something similar to the real thing.

I love how the concept art of this black hole turned out to not actually be too far off from the real deal.

4:01 "See you on the other side, Coop". Tars always knew Cooper would detach himself too.

When I hear that "90%", I always tear up a little. If only mankind had more people like Cooper...

Newton's 3rd law, you have to leave something behind, great advice, sometimes in life in order to move forward it's imperative we leave things behind! Powerful message

When the score kicks in as Cooper begins to detach, it's just so powerful, I think it captures both Amelia's fears and Cooper's sacrifice perfectly. Cooper giving a last look at Amelia just sells it. It always makes me cry and it's probably my favourite film.

Just imagine the level of courage and determination required to purposely plan to put yourself in a situation where you know you are going to be alone, in space, without a way to communicate with anyone, without much to physically support you, without knowing what's coming next and a 99% chance that you will never meet any human ever again and most likely die alone in an unknown place. Will any human be capable of doing this? How do you train someone for something like this?

This is one of the best, if not the best, scenes I have seen in a science fiction film. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack just amps up the tension. I love how the producer always silences the ship's noise when the scenes are shot from space, alternating between the noise they would hear inside the cockpit to the dead silence of space.

This scene is a great example of how effective music married to picture, can be. Many times, the composer is forgotten. Great job to Nolan and Zimmer!

Hans Zimmer... You're a genius! That detach moment... Gosh... Is like... Poetry and the realization of you are nothing compared with the entire universe. A master piece.
