I weighed 297. Went on OMAD, ate whatever I wanted, no counting calories, fats nor carbs. In one year I lost 120 pounds!

For anyone struggling with OMAD, try this tip. When u feel REALLY hungry and it becomes uncomfortable, try inhaling deeply and holding your breath. Do this repeatedly until you start feeling better. It will help get you through those short periods where you feel like ur starving. To me, it helps because when u take in a lot of air, it kind of feels like you've put something in ur stomach and it eases the feeling of being empty. As soon as you exhale, the discomfort comes back but inhaling repeatedly and holding your breath each time will reduce the discomfort.

I started at 18:6, moved to 20:4 and now I do OMAD. I’m shocked because I am not even hungry. Even when I get to meal time. I basically eat because I need to. I started with Keto and then read a lot about IF. I saw it as a way to lose weight faster, with the health benefits as a great side effect. I stated at 252 and 8 weeks later, I am 223. My GW is 200.

Thanks for this! My life has been transformed by this sort of information. I am turning 65 and for the past 2 years I have combined LOW CARB (Keto) with Intermittent Fasting, lost 82 lbs., came off ALL MEDICATIONS (2 for hypertension, one for high cholesterol and gave up my CPAP for sleep apnea). I am
Loving life! I started my own YouTube channel “Bill C Thompson - Live Healthy, Finish Strong “

I drink coffee in the morning and have dinner only. I have a six pack and can exercise all day without eating (until dinner).

FYI, if you're thinking of OMAD, I suggest reducing your carb intake (bread, noodles, rice, chips etc) to about 10-20% of normal and increasing vegetables/protein/healthy fat intake. I find carbs make me hungry later.

Been doing omad for 3 years. I lost 30-35kg, and able to maintain my weight. My routine checkup normally comes out as high ldl, normal hdl, normal blood pressure and normal triglycerides level. My body composition has around 8-9% fat.

I've been doing OMAD with reduced carbs (not low carb, I eat fruit, sweet potatoes etc, & occasionally sourdough bread) for several weeks. First diet I've actually been able to stick to, not felt dreadful on, & has resulted in continuing weight loss. I have 1 day off from OMAD approximately every 6-7 days, either 16:8 or just 3 normal meals, I always try to make them healthy, not overeat, no snacks in between the meals, & the last meal would be low carb. It's such a relief to find something that works.

I Did OMAD cause I'm Broke and just lose my job lol🤣 as I observed, it really stops cravings, i feel fine and has energy to do things.
Before where I eat 3x a day with snacks in between, i always crave and binge eat especially at night.
OMAD is not for all. But it really works for me.

I lost 35 lbs. in two months eating 8-10 meals per week. OMAD, 2MAD, weekend fasts.
High fat, low carb is the way to go as you can fast so easily when you eat satiating healthy fats. I plan to eat this way from now on.
