Overall, good advice. The other thing to consider is you can create your own business to leave a job for. You don’t always have to have a job lined up.

I already left my current job about 2+years ago even had my replacement, I came back when they where short handed. In total I’ve been there a lil over 10years, , all over a raise and when I came back I finally got my raise.so if I gotta quit this place again I’m not doing two weeks notice, ..I already asked for a raise in June and got the runaround

So I have a different opinion, 1. I work for me an my reasons 2. I do not ever look back 3. why do I care what the employer thinks when I am gone (if they bad mouth me I will sue them)

I have left on Great terms (because I respect the people I work for and with)
I have left on MY term and Dropped Grenades on the Bridge as I walk across it (I had ZERO respect and less care what they thought) so I intentionally BLEW THE BRIDGE...

you don't have to leave on Good terms JUST LEAVE ON THE TERMS YOU SET!!

I am in a situation where I do have a job line up and it starts mid next month and where I work the notice period is 1 week. Sounds a lot easier to quit the job right, well not exactly the company salary payment cycle is 1 month and they paid mid of the month about 14th each month, for 2 weeks in arrears and 2 weeks in advance, when I quit I give 1 week notice period a day after I get paid (from a moral value point of view I feel guilty as I felt like too calculative quit the day I get my monthly paid).

However, I will write in my resignation letter that I will work until the end of the month since I have been paid. The hardest part is because my mindset is already not with this company so subconsciously I would work a lot slower than usual and I know that not as professional as it seems, another issue is I already had performance coaching and my boss already told me the area I need to improve on. I really don't know what I should do in this situation to feel a lot less stressed, anyone who can provide me with some sort of suggestion would be much appreciated.

There are still approximately 2 weeks after I resign I need to serve after I resign (1 week is notice period and 4 working days extra to cover for them paying me a whole month) and I will not feel like working as I felt extremely stressed for the reason I don't really know, anyone has an idea to help me out would be great thank you.

I'm wondering whether I can take my two weeks notice during the time the company is taking a Christmas break.

Or just take annual leave during the notice period

Thank you for the video

Hi! So I’m putting in my two weeks next week. Things are on such good terms and I’m starting to finally get the swing of things after 3 months (I work part time and I’m in college) - I’m getting intern hours for grad school..

I have such a good relationship with my employer but I hardly know my supervisor. I feel weird telling my supervisor I’m giving two weeks before I tell my employer. I feel like it’ll be a stab in the back for him, lol. What should I do?

So when you make an appointment though, what title should you put? Or what kind of info should you put when you request it?
