Imo Ryobi is the best homeowner brand. Good enough to do anything around the house, built well enough to last, and cheap. As a casual homeowner you shouldn't be spending a crap ton on tools cuz you barely using them.

In ryobi defense, they only have the stick batteries because they promised the consumer they would never change so we wouldn't have to keep updating tools and battery styles

Ryobi's 40V line for lawn equipment is actually pretty solid. If you're just a homeowner, and don't do yard work for a living, Ryobi 40V is a good option.

Ryobi never moved away from post style batteries because their new batteries can still power tools they made 25 years ago. I still have some blue tools from 20+ years ago that work well with batteries I bought within the last year.

I use ryobi tools every day doing property maintenance/ remodeling, and doing mechanic work on ambulances. They work great, anyone who says they suck doesnt know what they are talking about

Ryobi doesn’t change their better design because it makes older tools useless when the battery cells die. That’s why they promised to never change their battery design. I love it because I have some blue and yellow Ryobi drills that still work because of it.

I've commented on one of the channel's videos before, and I'll say it again- Ryobi kicks ass. FOR A SPECIFIC USE. I'm a home owner, DIYer, my own landscaper, and occasional light contrustion project guy. The ryobi one+ line has been my main platform for years. The worst thats happened is a few bum batteries. Everything from lawn stuff to drills to glue guns up to wood working and saws of all types. I'm not a contractor. Im just a guy who needs stuff to assemble some furniture, do my lawn, maybe design and build some basic stuff around the house. It *feels* like this channel is liking it more and more, but Ryobi just gets pooped on way too much for all the work people get done with it.

It's like watching 4 Junior High School boys going through the toy box they haven't opened since they "were kids" (i.e. 3 years before when they were 9). Everything draws a scream and a fart joke. Love it!

At this point I'm starting to think John just gets these pallets for the adrenaline rush. It's like gambling without admitting you have a gambling problem😂

HD sells a ton of Ryobi tools WITHOUT batteries. A lot of people buy the tool, get it home, and go "WTF? Where's the battery?" So they return it right away.

Ryobi's decades-old battery design is one of the reasons they're so prevalent. I still have one of the old Blue & Yellow drills from 2004 that's still alive and kicking. The old batteries are long dead, but the drill lives on

I’ve got my original Ryobi tools…when they were about the only battery tools from over 20 years ago, when they were blue…and they still work 👍🏻😎🤩👏🏻

I owned a small lawn mowing business and all I used was Ryobi 40 volt. At the resrt I work at our shop tools and lawns tools are all Ryobi, cheaper to replace then any pro brand since employees are hard on stuff. You guys have way to much fun with these boxes lol

Their vacuums are legit! Between the floor vac and wet/dry vac, I barely use corded vacuums at home anymore. My biggest issue is with the tensioners on the electric chainsaw and pruner. The plastic doesn't hold the bar tight and allows it to work loose. Still easier than bringing a gas chainsaw back to life for every tiny job.

I think it would be cool to see these tools used on a woodworking project to see if the cheap price of tools reflects on the work they can do.

I think this channel should be renamed to "John Malecki Unhinged"

ya'll need to do a pallet shop build. I mean, between this pallet, that one with all the storage, and reselling anything you don't need at a price to move, someone could end up with a nice little home shop for a few grand.

As a homeowner and not very mechanically inclined, I love my Ryobi tools. They are perfect for small jobs around the house. If I was a professional I would not use them, but for light home use I think they are perfect for price. A neat trick when you go to Home Depot go when the rep is there and they will occasionally throw in a free item!

My dad loves Ryobi, he still has the blue ones from the early 2000s along with the modern green ones. He’s put them through their paces and absolutely rides or die for them.

That's not a bad haul. I wouldn't mind finding a few of those tools in a return palette. Some folks incorrectly assume you need professional grade tools for weekend project work when you really do not.
