I'll have to admit it was cool seeing you open that stuff because all of us know most of this stuff is usually scams. I'm happy that you got some good stuff. $2, 000 is just too much of a risk but it's perfect content to make people join your channel LOL I can see why you did it

I got lucky when I was hunting around for an airbrush compressor because someone had returned one to Bunnings (equivalent of Home Depot here in Australia) without the airbrush or hose (specifically they took the airbrush cups, the needle from the airbrush of all things, and the hose) and knocked like $70 off the price when I really just needed the compressor. Gotta love working returns.

Definitely overpaid for that pallet, but this is a pretty cool way to get decent tools cheap

Love your channel.
Just so you know, If you paid 2000 for 2700 retail priced items at liquidation, you got robbed.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge the cleverness of editing in "Careless Whisper" while blowing a Ryobi fan on his face that's part of the "whisper" series.😁

I've bought pallets before and on some items, there's a return receipt or sticker and most times there's a return reason on there

You’ll love that Ryobi inflator John. I’ve had one several years and use it all the time. I left it out in down pour onetime and thought it was toast. Nope still works like a charm

I used to operate a printing press. Tough machine. Love my Ryobi tools. 10 yrs+ and still going strong.

I have been doing this all year from a local auction website in MI. They list the individual items as auctions so getting good deals on items I need instead of entire pallets. Just be sure the check what the auction house charges on top of the bid, and figure in shipping or gas for pick up to get good deals way under retail. Got a dewalt 12" miter saw for $94, heavy duty stand for $110, husky tool cabinets around $100 instead of $500. Basically setting up my garage shop at discount. Deals to be found from returns!

You have caused me to add another addiction to my already 50 year old addiction to leather carving/saddle making addiction. Good news, they go hand in hand. Build wood molds for my leather work.

If there was anything one thing I learned when I ordered a Ryobi mower from Home Depot last year, it was that they're really in the business of selling batteries, not tools.
The mower I got was the same price for both the boxes that did and didn't include a battery, and the battery sold separately wasn't much cheaper. That's probably why several of those were $100 dolars rather than a more reasonable price: I'll bet they used the same battery, and the cheaper products came with much smaller batteries that used a different connector/interface to attach to the tool.

You got into a bidding war with the company selling it. known to happen.

This channel makes me want to do woodworking projects and ignore the 20 weekends worth of remodel projects I already have lined up 🥲

That's cool Jordan. My wife worked for DeWalt for almost 20 years, doing everything from front counter to outside sales to repair tech.

I'm gonna be honest, I actually really love my Ryobi tools. They are perfect for my home diy projects

Check the top on the dewalt table saw to see how flat it is. I open 4 of them before I found one that was close to flat.
