This video was over an hour long and finished with a recap and screenshots of some sold items. Evidently the file got corrupted and only half the video uploaded.

Summary: I made about $1000 profit and sold most of it.

This fellow, although he may be a nice guy, is the exact person that you want to keep as far away from power tools as possible.

I loved when you ran the planner over the nails in the pallet. Gee, can't imagine it nicked the blade... LOL!

You literally ruined both of those planers on pallet nails. 😂😂😂

I literally cringed every time you ran those hand planers across the nails on that pallet. Ouch!

You, my friend, are a dangerous man with power tools!

anybody else get slightly concerned when rabbit is around powertools?

The problem with hitting metal with planer blades is that it nicks the blade. This causes the blade to leave a high spot ridge on the work piece when you run the planer over wood.

When I was a trucker, I’d take some oak pallets and plane them down (avoiding nails, of course 😝). Now that I’m a crane operator I sometimes get 2X3” red oak boards eight feet long. I run them through my table saw and make cool stuff with free oak.

Porter Cable is not Harbor Freight brand. They are a fairly decent brand.

as somebody who forgot to put a pad over the velcro and quickly melted all the hooks I cringed at the purposeful destruction of velcro

Been a contractor for 25 years so I've spent a lot of hours maintaining and repairing many brands of corded and cordless tools. The new tools are slick out of the package but taking them completely apart when they fail they aren't built as tough and reliable as they were 15 to 20 years ago. Many times the new ones cost almost almost as much to repair as buying new. Planned obsolescence. Edit : And they are raping us on the cost of batteries.

Porter Cable is not Harbor Freight. They're almost as expensive as DeWalt, maybe 80% of the DeWalt pin nailer cost. Pin nailers are for pinning things while you glue, etc, where you don't want the hole to show.

Used to grab pallet lots like this, then do a fixing mathon and resell at flea markets and swap meets. Got really good at fixing the batteries for them.

The broken 1\2” drive fitting on the first dewalt impact is called an anvil.

Those nail guns have a low fastener lockout. Just pull the follower/nail pusher down to test fire the tool. The single nail/3 nail icon is a sequential fire/bump fire feature. Sequential fire is push the contact down and pull the trigger. Bump fire is hold the trigger and bump the contact.

I do like fidgeting around and fixing things. You're making me want to get a bunch of these and fix all of them to sell them.
