I'm scared of bears too, and I just completed a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. The few bears I saw weren't phased by me. If you're very worried, bring bear spray. Don't sleep with your food and/or camp where there are bear boxes to store food.

I think clothing is so much easier. Especially when you have to pack it and ship it. This is a lot of lugging I'm trying to fit it into the car. It's amazing what the public orders and then sends back, we have too much of everything. Stay with the clothing it seems a lot easier. Thank you for sharing

I just bought a ceiling fan on mercari. I’m very happy with it. It’s hanging in my new garage. The garage I have been needing ever since we moved here 5 years ago. Now we will be ordering Amazon pallets. Because we have room. And I get my spare bedroom back that’s been covered up with resale. We made the decision to down size when our daughter left for college. She wanted to become a pharmacist and we thought giving up our big suburban home we could help her get through a 7 year program. She In year 6 now. And the small country home we bought in a small country town has been completely upgraded. It was a foreclosure. Best decision we ever made. We gave up high taxes and downsized. But in the past 5 years not only helped our daughter get through school we have made this home and property very desirable. We have flipped homes in our past. But this one is so much of what we love it’s going to be hard to leave. But no matter where we live resale will be a big part of our lives. I really appreciate you sharing all the things you thrift. I hope you make big money on all your hauls. 💰
