Red backs are scarier because they’re fucking everywhere.

“Only two deadly spiders in Australia” Yea there are way more deadly spiders than that.

In India, spiders are nothing when compared to the toxicity of the people

I have never been bitten by a spider because most of the time I crush and kill them instantly when seeing them

Funnel web and The brizalian wandering are the most deadly spiders

As an Australian, over here its considered that the funnel web is definitely the more deadly spider when compared to the red back.

Well said: Australia is famed for all kinds of things that can creep up on you and kill you so...I guess I'll never visit Australia :D

I remeber one time as a kid I had Soccer Practice so after practice me and my friends would go through the woods. So on our little journey we found one of the biggest Spiders we have ever seen all spread out on a tree. Turns out it was a Brown Reclus but we didn't know that so we found rocks and started chucking rocks at it. I guess we pissed it off and it fell and started chasing us we were scared shitless

I got bit by a brow recluse while mowing the lawn around 8 years ago. Didn't realize it until a few days later when there was a festering wound on my leg. Trip to the doctor and a shot later, the antivenom was administered but my leg was in so much pain (and you could see my veins very well thru my skin) I had to use crutches for a few days.

You've never been scared unless you've tried putting a spider on paper to throw it away and it starts climbing up the paper with it's web

I was bitten by a wolf spider when I was a little kid. It was on a table and I didn't know it would bite when I touched it. I've always been cautious of spiders ever since.

i was bitten by a Brown Recluse in North Carolina at i think age 9, at first we didnt know what it was but i had redness, which soon turned into a small ulcer my mother put ice at the site of the bite and still didnt know what it was (i was young so i couldnt tell) the ice actually helped and soon the minor ulcer was going down, after a couple days of constantly icing the site, the redness and the ulcer completely vanished. here i am now typing this comment several years after with no issues. it wasnt until my mom googled what happened to find it was a Brown Recluse

My dad got bit by a Black Widow when I was young. The bite was so bad, the doctors almost had to amputate his arm. Lucky though, they were able to cure it just in time.

However, I live in a basement, so I deal with spiders all the time...
