Here's a guided meditation for observing the mind without interest.

To be free of the mind, you must go beyond it. To go beyond it, you must know yourself as prior to it.

To know yourself as prior to it, you must establish yourself as the knower of the mind, as the watcher of it.

And lastly, to establish yourself as the knower of the mind, you must learn to observe it without getting involved in it.

If you remain involved in the mind, you will take yourself to BE it. Only when you learn to watch it without reacting to it, you will go beyond it.

That is the experience that today’s video is dedicated to guide you into.

It is a guided meditation easing you into what it is like to observe the mind without becoming involved in it, to watch it without interest.

The deeply rooted conditioning is so deep its unreal, despite having being aware of what's happening in the internal dialogue, you can be overwhelmed by it and trying to get that balance is difficult 😮

It’s hard to observe the painful stuff of past that arises. These images and recollections are often distorted to be far worse in the mind following years of unconscious rumination.
The mind has a way of producing testing material that requires great courage to simply observe without being pulled in.

R Spira said that in the awareness only model of reality, the only thing there is to perception is perceiving and the only substance to perceiving is knowing/awareness. There is only the play of awareness in all sensations and perceptions.

just observing a negative emotion makes me concentrate on it even more, what leads to more and more intense pain, but when I take one more step back towards awareness and observe the ''One'' that feels the emotion, the emotion dissolves, so juts observing doesn't help, it only intensifies
the pain, am I right on this one?

I can rest my awareness on being aware when and only when Im in meditation. I would like to get to the stillness on a day to day acurance.

Great video. How do you distinguish between thoughts that arise that we need to act on e.g. I need to turn off the cooker and thoughts to merely observe? Or is it that the actions we should take ( i.e. inspired action) derive from another source of intelligence that is different from our thoughts?
