When you throw your punch, you expose your body (kidneys, liver) so as you think about leaving your arm out there to throw your other hand, the boxer had slipped, the first punch, moved and countered avoiding being in your range of power. Nobodies wrong here. My teacher didn’t like the speed bag because it taught us a bad habit of keeping our chin up. I would assume the same with Wing Chun.

I'm a boxer, and I know Wing chun is the best art for setting things up. The number of things u can do after trapping is really good. I recommend u hone your trapping skills on the side of whatever martial art you do
