Chair Yoga 28 Day Series - More Seated, Some Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for our 28 day journey including seated leaning Goddess pose. You’ll only need a chair for today’s class.

Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.

This 23 minute yoga practice is day 8 of our 28 day yoga journey together. Join us as we build our practice from the ground up. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and improve focus.

You’ll only need a chair. We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.

My work in the garden on Saturday left me with some sore muscles! Day 8 stretches were soothing and wonderful! My right knee benefitted from the goddess pose sequence, giving me lots of crackles. We now have a few days away in the country to replenish - very times. See you for Day 9 from our hotel room! Thank you Carol. Namaste xx

Day 8-Done! Wow, that addition in the standing position was great. I heard my bones cracklin' as I twisted from side to side, I mean REALLY craclin'! That told me how much I needed that new position! Thank you, Carol. I'm loving this and the time goes by very quickly! See you tomorrow!

Thank you, Carol. I’m going through this series again and am able to have much better form. I’m pausing and doing pigeon pose before the ending. Doing the shorter classes because I’m doing some weight training after yoga. I appreciate your ideas very much. I’m moving better because of them.

I love the way that each practice begins gently, as I wake up so stiff each morning. I found the standing poses quite a challenge, with my stiff knees, finding it hard to hold the poses. I will get there! Thank you Carol. Namaste xx

I almost didn't make it the mat (I decided to re-arrange all the furniture in my bedroom - phewee!) but oh so glad I did. I enjoyed the standing goddess today even though I could feel muscles I forgot I had 🙃 Thanks Carol

I just want to say Thank You!! I am still here after a week. I start on the weekend just to try, well I'm just going to say I got stuff done. I started to get up earlier to do it before work and have been feeling better at work, so thanks again!!
