=========================

Learn how to identify the bones of the wrist and assess for correct wrist alignment in a writ radiography. We review the wrist anatomy and the morphology of the wrist bones. By the end of this video you should be able to identify the scaphoid, lunate, triquetrum, pisiform, hamate, capitate, trapezoid and the trapezium with ease. We review the joint spaces, radial inclination, volar tilt and the scapholunate angle.

=========================

*Not sure if the question banks are for you?*
If you're here, you're likely studying for a radiology physics exam. I've spent the last few months collating past papers from multiple different countries selecting the most commonly asked questions. You'll be surprised how often questions repeat themselves!

The types of questions asked in FRCR, RANZCR AIT, ARRT, FC Rad Diag (SA), ABR qualifying Core Physics and MICR part 1 are surprisingly similar and the key concepts remain the same throughout. I've taken the most high-yield questions and answered them in video format so that I can take you through why certain answers are correct and others are not.

Happy studying,
Michael

You put individual concepts into their context, and as a result I've learned more from you about anatomy than any every other resource. My GPA thanks you 🙏

I can truly say that I feel honoured every time I watch your tutorials. The world is full of amazingness and Dr you are every part of the amazingness. When I feel I should give up because I am struggling in my old age at 59 to gain this degree you turn that negative into positive. Your knowledge is Wizard. I admire your tenacity and gosh only knows you make this world a better planet now and to be. So grateful.. I share the total respect for you, thank you so much...words do not seem adequate :D

I would love to see a video where you distinguish fractures and classify their type. I've heard my ARRT exam has images you must identify >.<

i have fractured my ulnar, the end of it looks like a cracked egg, I have had it realigned, but I am avoiding surgery as I googled images and saw how the skin is cut open, and a plate is screwed in. I wish I never looked, but thank you for showing me what it should all look like, as my images I did not know how it was supposed to look

Hi Dr Michael, how about the distance of the distal radio-ulnar joint? Should it be overlapped? How do we know if it's disrupted?

As a response to your invitation of new video ideas, I would like to kindly request the angiograms of blood vessels (of the limbs and torso, in sections of course). thank you🙂

06:13 its not an AP view but a PA view. And you keep referring to it AP several times in your video. How can then someone trust you with rest of the stuff you present when you cant be accurate with something as basic as the projection? Or did I miss something?
