Make sure you do not have these snacks available in your space. In your last meal, to prevent snacking, add more fat to your meal.

Environment is more powerful than will. If it’s not in your home, you can’t eat it! Don’t bring junky stuff into your home. That is the best advice really!

I have followed Dr Bergs advice over the months and now find myself on one meal a day and found focus is key. The weight seems to be melting away

Been keto for 2 years but prone to over eating when I have my first meal at 5pm, upped my fat quite a bit, full after the meal, no snacks needed thank you Dr Berg again .

So so true.. When I eat lots of steam veg with coconut oil and butter at 6pm..I'm so full that even if I'm up until midnight, I'm not hungry.

I can go the whole day without eating but in the evenings i start to graze like a Bison and my insulin levels in the morning can be as much as 21.

I can do fantastic all day long until about midnight. It's almost like I'm sleepwalking. I walk like a zombie to the kitchen grab crunchy carbs or chocolate had back to my bedroom and pig out. I would love to have all of those things out of the house but I live with 3 other adults who are definitely the other adults who are definitely not keto. And I would love to just have the will power myself to stop doing it.

My cravings are that bad to the point where I will toss and turn in bed and before I know it it's 4am and my craving will not give in at all even well into the next day untill I have it I don't know why

How did you know late night snacking has been a challenge for me? Oh please I have been known to go get "it". You are absolutely correct about eating enough fat...its my HEAD that's the problem... SABOTURE

Hi Dr. Berg. I'm surprised you didn't suggest ACV after last mean of the day and before bedtime to suppress cravings and appetite.

I consume 2tble spoons of ACV after all meals, and a smaller dose about 30min before bed.
I'd love to see more videos on ACV, and acidity in the body.

I’m a serious snacker and I’m trying to stop, so this really helped me out. I liked your point about being keto adapted. I was before but I’ve been doing too many cheat days now that my weight is lower, so I need to get back on track and stop snacking so I can lose fat and my last 15 pounds. Thanks!

For me, tonight will mark one month of following the ketogenic diet. In total I've lost 17 lb which I'm super happy about it. For me - as I'm not really too big to begin with - losing the extra pudge here and there was always SO tough! I feel incredible and will most likely stick to this new lifestyle. Thank you so much, Dr Berg, for all the invaluable information.

Keep in mind this is for someone who works a normal shift. If you work nights or swing it doesnt really apply.
For example lunch is at 8 pm for me and dinner is around 12 or 1 am.

Over the last few years I've been waking up with an incredibly dry mouth, throat, sandy eyes and a bad taste in my mouth. I tried everything from drinking more water to buying a tilted bed. Changed my diet a number of times to see if it would help, quit drinking and vaping and while I experienced benefits in other areas this dry mouth thing has persisted.

Recently however I've had to get up earlier because of a change in career and as a result I've had to shift my eating pattern from afternoon and evening eating to morning and daytime eating. By chance I don't eat now for about 3 hours before bed because I've eaten the vast majority of my food during the first half of the day as opposed to the second.l and I'm not hungry in the evening. And by god the dry mouth thing has gone. It went overnight. No more morning dryness, headaches or acid reflux. I wish I did this years ago. I haven't even changed my diet, infact I eat more and I've lost weight.

I tend to get hungry at 9 PM on omad. So I usually just have a little bit of cream or ghee/butter. Won't spike my insulin or break my fast.

I can add fat to dinnertime meal, but around 1:30-2:00 am, I start snacking on pork rinds. About 1 cups worth. Then I can fall back asleep. Argh!! What can I do? I've been stagnate on Weight loss for 2 weeks now. Oh, and I'm doing 20-22 hrs I.F. as well. (???) Usually eating a salad meal for 1st meal and protein with cooked veggie for 2nd meal.
