Yes the PAIN of being stuck in a traumatic freeze response. I was so motivated 3 weeks ago ready to take on my new journey/goasl, then trauma struck in a way I couldn't imagine. I'm super dissociated, full of fear and disconnected from my self, memories, goals. I just want to disappear. This is not living :(

Is this the name for some other thing as well? I have PTSD and when I have freeze response it's literally that I can't move or speak. If I'm eating I can't chew the food or let go of it anymore, my eyes are wide open and my heart rate is rapid. My breathing alternates between stopping and being difficult and sharp. I've learnt from many sources that this is what freeze response is and feels like.

So…How do we HEAL SOLVE FIX this? Being stuck in the freeze response has led me to stay in bed in the morning for months turning into a year after my mom died. And causing severe butt back and hip pain. Now it hurts my knees and to lay on stomach. Leading to frustration anger and lack of sleep. God help us all.

I've been stuck in this for pretty much my whole life, I'm so numb I don't have any desire to change or chase after dreams. I don't even remember what my dreams were. All of my optimism left me and I feel like a zombie, I just want this to end. There's times when I feel hopeful but it's never enough to get myself moving, I just don't have the mindset anymore. I've tried almost everything, therapy and counseling didn't work for me, I even tried going back to religion but god I can't fake the fact that I don't resonate with religion at all! Idk what to do at this point...
