Probably the best crafted product presentation video I've seen in years. Magnificent.

Impressive..finally a chinese company understands what people want from a 3d printer! I will certainly follow this development.

In all honesty, the best crafted presentation I've seen in a very long time, and best 3D printer I've had. Has super good prints and very impressive responsiveness of the screen itself, the whole interface is just so satisfying to use. They just knew what customers want!

Wow, very impressive specs! I'm looking forward to a less expensive option for printing carbon fiber than my Markforged. I think Bambo Lab might be what we need to fundamentally change the 3D printing world! Excellent integration of technology to make 3D printing easier and better!

this is looking damn impressive. are you planning a bigger volume printer too? 250³ is not bad but i was looking for my next printer to be capable of 350-400³

It is a great machine, no doubt about it, as long as you do not print PA-CF. I am saying this because the X1 CARBON shows 'Carbon' in its name.
1.) After printing approx. 600-700g of PA-CF the hardened nozzle is worn out.
2.) The feeder has an issue with this material, because of its design. The friction wheel is very small in diameter. Therefore it need a heavy spring load at the counter friction wheel. This creates plenty of dust and debris from the filament. And now the issue is, that the counter friction wheel has an open needle bearing in it. Consequence is that particles can get into the bearing and then it blocks temporarily. With good luck you can print quite a bit of material, before you need to get a new friction drive, with bad luck it happens after printing only a few grams. It's a lottery.
So the the X1CARBON is a lovely machine for PLA, PETG, ABS...., but e.g. PA-CF is tricky although the machine is named x1CARBON. The fast worn out nozzle is annoying, but e.g. in milling you also need to exchange an endmil, every now and then. But the problem with the filament feeder is a big problem and needs to be fixed by an improvement of the design.

Great. On my first print already clogged the nozzle. And 3 days for support. Great start.

Very impressive printer, but I giggled when I saw how the vase at 2:07 doesn't work. Kudos to the video editors. ;-)

I'm loving my X1 Carbon -- just several weeks old. So impressive.
As others have mentioned, a larger print volume for the *X2*? If keeping the square build volume is important, I'd love to have a 400x400 mm to add to may print garden. 🙂👍

Looked good up until the RFID tech, what assurances are there that sometime in the future it will be restricted to only accept Bambu filament. Might be the reason for the affordable price

I'm looking forward to the innovation. It is the next jump and could make many people interested again.
The fact that it has lidar, multi-color, great quality and competitive costs could even potentially defeat Prusa multi-color printer in preorders.
Hopeful that there will be a bigger size version of this in the future.
