i needed this so bad. my anxiety has been at an all-time high recently. thank you so much. it's hard to remember that God cares and that He's in control when you're so tied up in all your worries and fears. knowing I am not alone and that other Christians also battle with this is a great comfort

I’ve been dealing with panic attacks since about 6 months ago. I have always had severe social anxiety and it was becoming manageable but about 6 months ago it turned into full on anxiety attacks I just to my best to trust God.

This is something I wrote last month as I prepare to go on a 1 year mission trip:
Waves of fear and anxiety overwhelm me,
I ask myself what am I doing?
But then the Lord of all says “My child you’re growing;
You’re learning how to step out of the boat in faith,
You’re following my call and voice,
You want to come closer to me and become like me,
The fear and anxiety is saying you’ve never done this before,
But nevertheless you’re growing and coming closer to me,
My child you are stepping out in faith!”

Thanks for sharing your struggles! It’s good to know that we are not alone in the struggles we Christians face whether that be anxiety or something else. As the scriptures say, our brothers and sisters all throughout the world are going through the same kinds of suffering as we are.

This is so moving. If I had to choose something to interpret my inner thoughts, this would be it. Thank you for this vulnerability. God is so faithful, and draws near when we draw near to Him, covering us with His almighty protection where there is no anxiety or fear, but love.

This is great! Lately I have suffered a lot of anxiety preparing to be the man my future wife would need me to be. Anytime I didn’t know the answer on how to act perfectly within every situation, I would feel such strong pain. Most of the time, I didn’t even know why I felt this pain and heartache. I seeked God hard and constantly to find peace and answers to why I felt the way I felt, and how to help it. I thank God that he has been there! God is so good! 😁

I feel like everybody has anxiety these days. I wonder if we are buying lies that the devil is selling us? I also believe that i do struggle with anxious thoughts, but sometimes I intentionally go there because It's all I see.
