When making such an important life decision, always remember - The Army digs in, the Air Force checks in.

Great video! I’m planning on doing military police in the reserves and since I have the option of choosing one of the three branches I’m wondering what and where the initial basic training would be for each?

In general are there lots of full time contracts available throughout the year in the navy? If so how long are most full time contracts?

In the 80s, I passed the tests of that time and scored in the first percentile. The recruiter told me I had my choice of trade, and I told him infantry. He looked at me for a good 15 seconds, then asked me if I had cheated on my tests if I knew anyone who had done it before that had given me an up.... He just couldn't believe that someone with a high score would choose that job over all of the other civilian translating trades they had back then (Firefighter, etc...) that are now filled by civilian contractors.
What can I say, it was a family thing. They ALL went pilot, but I wore glasses, so I chose the next dumbest thing.
That recruiter was right. Bum knees, a broken back and neck, a hip replacement later, and I WISH I had listened to that good man. The only bright side is that my son will have a big chunk of titanium to sell when I croak.

What is the difference of P Res and Supp res in the Air Force and/or Navy?

All three environments have their own advantages, I guess.

It seems like the Air Force is the toughest option for a part-time reservist because it has the biggest time commitment away from your home unit - which can be tough with a full time job.

Is that true to say?

How do the Army and Navy compare on that score?

I'm just wondering, if I go to the recruiting center and apply for a full time job as a permanent resident, how long will I have to wait before leaving for basic military qualification

Is it possible to be in the army reserves while living abroad- as in live abroad commute regularly to your home unit for training? I'm a Canadian citizen but I live abroad and I am willing to join.

Need to find a way. To influence People to join the military. Like electricians, different careers. And find a way to. Increase their salary, making it appealing. For people to join.

Hello PO2 Fraser, I am a high school student who is about to graduate and wanted to serve in the reserve force part-time. However, I will most likely attend college in the United States. Would I be possible to fulfill the commitment and still being a full-time student?

Hello Sergeant, how are you doing? your post had just popped up, I guess I my question isn’t coming late— I’m Flt Lt MA OBI an Offr in the AirForce, Armed Forces of Nigeria. My wife desires to relocate to Canada. Is it possible that I get a placement in the RCAF if I search to be recruited.
I’m currently 34yrs old, have about 100 hours with the DA 40 aircraft and 50 hours on the L39 ZA aircraft. Presently flying UCAV specifically the CH-3A. At the moment I’m flying a Portuguese AR3 UAV, conducting ISR/Surveillance on oil/gas infrastructures on the Nigerian/the Golf of Guinea sea and the creeks.
Thanks.
