This woman is saving my life. The way she teaches and her humor have gotten me hooked, especially since I really need to learn these skills. I have never been so happy to see crash course do extremely important life skills like the studying procrastination series and now this soft skills series. These are the things that schools never taught us but are actually the skillsets that will actually lead you to a better life. THANK YOU CRASH COURSE!

Sometimes the presenters of these courses talk so quickly that I can barely keep up. I really appreciate Evelyn’s pace. It was easy to follow/understand. ❤️❤️

I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, you're definitely gonna win!

I am from latin america and we are thoroughly discussing laboral reforms over here. Entrepreneurism is something we lack (people here still think you will get married with your first job and work there for 40 years). I've met countless people (myself included) with hundreds of ideas to start our own businesses, but we lack both the skills and the enviroment to do this. This series will completely negate the first excuse, so thank you a ton crash course! Evelyn you are not only lovely, but they way you speak and bring subjects up is amazing and amusing!!! Keep it up :)

Unfortunately, many people will exploit and take advantage of others at every opportunity. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly and we should not, by any means, accept less.

I just left grad school in math to pursue greener pastures in corporate America and this has been immensely helpful. Ty

Trust is a two way street, and feeds back on itself. Personal Story:

I was a contractor under the employ of a company that provides software development services for clients. I was told that the position with a client was for at least 6 months, and that I had to relocate across country. I did so, but the client did not have work for me beyond busy work and all projects I was working on were for the benefit of my employer, not the client. The budget was not there to keep me at the client, so I was going to be released to the pool of contractors my employer had in the area after 2 months. I was most likely going to be let go in a month if work was not found. I used my connections in the client, as several people at the client liked me, and found a position and took it to my bosses.

I then worked on three year long projects with the client, all self found, and I never felt like I could trust my employer at the time to do anything for me again. I left that position with plenty of good relations and recommendations from the client, but none from the employer and no exit interview. One bad experience started a very one-sided employment that spanned years. There was a lack of trust on both sides, I am no angel, but I can pinpoint where I started under-delivering to my employer to when I felt like I had to be my own contractor rather than their employee.

Integrity- Do I show up in time?; Do I make sure that everything is in order?
Intent- Why am I doing this?; Am I doing for the extra money or Do I enjoy this? Do my interests align with the others'
Competence- Can I do this? Do I do it well?

Really cool Video!

Answers to prayers. I've been desperately working my butt off to grow a small business - very, very small - and feeling utterly lost in the business side of it. The creative stuff I can handle - the "technician" stuff, I guess you could say. But the rest? No idea what the heck I'm doing!

This is going to be a tough learning curve for me but I already feel a certain amount of trust that the Crash Course team, and Evelyn, will do their best to help!

Wow this is something I've been looking for, nobody talks about enhancing your soft skills but expect you to work on what you have with no explanations.
