I am restarting my vegan weight loss journey. Hopefully, this gives you motivation on how to restart your journey in 2019. I share my first tip on how to lose weight on a vegan diet or any diet in a sustainable and healthy way. I show you how to shop your kitchen for what to eat to get your journey started again. When I first went vegan, I lost 60 lbs in 7 months, then I had two pregnancies. In my Lose It With Cris series for Veganuary, I will share the ups and downs of finally getting to my weight loss goal.

hot mama ! you make that mama life look so easy ! been vegan since May 2016 and originally lost 15 pounds but now I’m at my highest ever dealing with really bad binge eating and like emotional eating ! it’s horrible ! So in 2019 I wanna repair my relationship food with more whole foods, fruit and veggies and try to limit the vegan junk food . Love you beautiful! You got this ! 🤞🏼👊🏼

I’m so glad you’re sharing your weight loss journey. I have about 50 lbs to lose myself and I plan to get started on the 15th of this month. I will be doing it just like you, just cutting my portion sizes and having less sweets. I also plan to exercise 4 to5 times a week. I don’t believe in strict diets, they’re not realistic for me, I love to eat too much😂

Hey sis!!! Love the vlog, very inspiring. I legit just decided this morning to make a conscious effort to eat better. Overnight work has given me terrible habits, but that all changes today. Actually I started 6 days ago. I cooked a large pot of vegetable soup. Carrot, onion, garlic, tomatoes, green peas, brocolli, parsley, yellow and red pepper, 3 tbsp of lentils, salt, turmeric, black pepper and water. I just cooked it in the press cooker for 15 minutes. And I eat it every day for lunch. 2 plates and I always add 70 gr of cubed tofu and fresh ginger to the plate and a little bit of salad on the side. For breakfast I eat 100 gr of homemade bread with hummus and cucumber or something else I like. And for snack I make myself a smoothie of 1 banana, 1 tangerine or orange, 2 handfulls of frozen forest fruit, 1 tbsp ground flax and 1 tsp peanutbutter and sparkly water. Actually I try to stay away from processed food as much as posible. I use olive oil in the salad and lemon juice. And a handfull of almond, peanuts or pumpkin seeds every day. I feel great. I do yoga every morning. 20 minutes a day. I am a beginner so I don't know what am I doing but I feel fresh the rest of the day.
It is so simple and no kneading🤸‍♀️👍😁

helpful. Starting my weight loss journey after first baby. He’s a year old now and I finally feel ready! I gained 15 MORE lbs after I had him. So I’m ready! No quite vegan yet, but I’m definitely working my way there :) your videos are helpful. Thank you ❤️

"I don't know if that's true." LOL!! Hi Fam!! Thank you, Sis. People are always talking about getting rid of carbs and fats. Umm, you need carbs for brain function. Then overload on proteins. Umm, an overload of proteins will convert to FAT! It's about being smart with your food. Overload on fruits and veggies (wholefoods)! You don't have to count calories if you don't go crazy with your food choices and you move your body. I know YOU have this. Too smart and courageous not to. Plus, you have a house filled with so much support. Love you guys!!

Making healthier choices and lessening snacks/junk food lol.. lord knows I love chips! 🤣 I will have some again but it will be a treat sometime next month lol. Thank you for sharing! I’ve ALWAYS had goals of losing weight, and I’ve looked at so many different ways people do so to emulate them. I actually think I began following y’all because I wanted to learn more about what being vegan looked like ESPECIALLY with a family to feed.

Anyways, this year I’m jumpstarting by first addressing my unhealthy relationship to food. Then, I’m taking more ownership of what I eat by primarily cooking most of my meals. Next, I’m drinking predominantly water. Finally, I’m subbing naturally sweet foods for all the sweets I would usually bake.

By faith, there will be progress. I look forward to your updates.

When I first clicked on the video, I was like I see you! Hair's getting long lol
My goal is more so health than weight loss. If I lose this extra stomach weight in the process I wouldn't be mad LOL. Trying to be fully vegan this year
