STOP SCARING YOURSELF! HOW TO STOP BELIEVING SCARY THOUGHTS - YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A PRISONER OF YOUR ANXIOUS MIND: Are you a prisoner of your own thoughts? Don't believe everything your brain is telling you. Even when our thoughts feel true, it doesn't mean that they are. This video discusses our tendency to let our mind flood with anxious thoughts that we oftentimes fail to question, leading to much suffering and even panic. It is important we learn to notice thoughts and observe them, but to then let them go if they are irrational or do not serve us. When we change our habitual thinking patterns and understand that we can design and choose our thoughts, we can find much more peace, and experience much less anxiety. You are not your thoughts!

I’ve been doing this for months and I’m trying to figure out how to stop. I’ve been talking to loved ones and reading books about mental health. It’s been helping. Watching these videos makes me feel so much better and I think I just need to realize my thoughts don’t define who I am and they’re not reality like you said. Thank you for spreading this awareness!

Thank you for you vídeo Nena, it’s so helpful and so simple, I just realized this week that I ruminate I was happy to discover that because now I know why I have terrible anxiety and sadness. I did ayahuasca 3 years and after I started realizing I was too much in my head not leaving in present and thinking negativity most of the time analyzing everything! I was finally able to have that self awareness but this is hard because if with me not wanting to do it my brain just takes me to that path all day long it’s a battle!

This is such good advice for everyone. I can definitely relate to this. I think everyone has gone through this at some point and has loved ones or friends who are currently going through this. I've seen some figure it out when they're still in elementary school and I've seen others who don't figure it out until they're in old age. This is definitely something everyone needs to hear! :-)

Yes, thanks for addressing this ❤❤❤❤❤ our mind can be our biggest ally but it can also be our biggest enemy.. but the choice is ours 😀😀😀😀😀 if I struggle with such state of mind, my best strategy is to pause and think about: will these things still matter in a month..? Or a year from now..? If yes, I'll find a solution. If not, I'll move on and ignore it 😉

I am worried nena" that you might loose out on the mental exercise when people are confused about your thoughts and don't understand and if you are there with people it's fun seeing there expressions and when they look at each other and back at me and when I explain it sometimes people are laughing and then kinda get happy and say they just never thought of the idea like I did, the fun part is enduring how long I decide to look like a complete nut case 🤔🤣 I've even include that part in my daily if possible sense of humor reality or not some of the least likely to happen thing's is what is the most funny to me especially if there's just enough true thoughts to convince me i am sorry I misspelled your name I just noticed it. And I completely understand everyone's thoughts I usually don't say what my opinion is and then say I don't care what other people think because I do life is a wonderful thing and I try to be there best mostly in my meal life I have a couple real friends is all . I was hoping you would come back I just was watching the tv movie show Dallas because jr. Is so funny. I hate being me. My head is so fucked up up. I am a tool i know that...trust me. I don't want to live in thisind either.. I put too much effort in the wrong shit to see that I wasted all my potential and abilities to become someone worth while in this short life ..what a fucking waste
