Option number three, you got drunk at the party, looked behind you and saw black because the car was passing you slowly and was already to the left of you. The scratches had just gone unnoticed until then.

Option 3, your rear view mirror had been bumped and was not pointing behind you but down at the back seat which is pitch black.

I remember years ago one of my female friends was driving home and was talking to me on her phone via speaker.
Where she was driving was kind of isolated but did have good phone service all of a sudden there was this noise and she said a car tapped her from behind and she said she was going to pull over.
I told her not to pull over and to get out of the area lock your doors and drive to the nearest police department and she argued with me and I told her to get out of the area because it might be a trap I had to yell at her and convince her to do what I said she was all alone it was late at night and I told her to keep her ass in the car lock the doors and drive on.
She thanked me later she was able to get to the police station because the person that hit her actually tried to run her off the road as she was driving there after she hung up with me I did tell her before we hung up to try and take a picture of the car and the drivers license I told her to make the driver think that she was pulling over and she did and she was able to take a picture of the license plates and a description of a car and a picture of the man behind the wheel and then she took off.
She got to the police department and told him what happened they were able to find this man and in the trunk of his car there was some rope handcuffs and a knife and two months later my friend moved out of that area and decided to become a city girl not that that’s any safer but there are no dark roads.

My Aunt and Uncles told me a Story some years ago, one of my Uncles was driving his Sister my Aunt and her Husband and her 3 daughters my Cousins from Chihuahua To Camargo Mexico and it was late at Night my two uncles were in front and my Aunt was in the back seat and my cousins were sleeping, and then my aunt told my Uncle what is that so my Uncle turned on his Bright Lights and there was a woman floating about 5 feet off the ground in front of them my aunt said She was dressed in A White dress and black Hair was waving in the Air and my Uncle Floored it and Drove through Her and when he looked Back she was gone and All three were shook up and they Prayed the rest of the way home.

I was once on my bike and I bought a big bottle of whisky, but I was worried I would fall off my bike on the way home and smash the bottle, so I drank the entire bottle, good job I did because I did in fact fall off a few times and the bottle would have definitely smashed

As a trucker driver I’ve had this happen to me a couple times. One case was when I was in VA ending my day. As I was driving my truck to the hotel a car came speeding down in my lane towards me. At the last second it switches lanes and passes me.when I look behind my truck into the mirrors to see him drive away all I see is darkness. No car, lights, tail lights, nothing. I stopped the truck to see if I was losing it and nothing was there.
