Tok Mat cautions against rushing to impose stiff penalties for people who flout Covid-19 SOPs

Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan says there is a need to review the proposed enhanced penalties of up to RM1 million and other amendments to the infectious diseases law, under which Covid-19 SOPs are enforced.

I appeal to the govt of Malaysia not to put strict laws and rulings in Malaysia cause the foriegn tourists and foriegn investers will not come to Malaysia with all these strict rulings. .All our tourist have already gone to Phuket Thailand and our foriegn investors are already leaving .We Malaysians will lose our jobs if foriegners stop coming to Malaysia.We Malaysians should follow Thailand.We should be foriegn friendly country to improve our economy and bounce back from this crisis.Pls do not put such strict laws which will make Malaysia and its ppl poor.Thanku. enforcement is a good excuse for many rewards. we all know why such focus instead of focussing on more biger issues. as it is things are in good control and its not like how it was. so the purpose???? we all know. semuanya alasan untuk kita tahu la. negara dah hancur pun.

This enforcement officer the issue fine is because probably they do get commission from it. This is what make them so eager to issue compound without a care for the people. They just simply want to get the target and commission.
