Here’s a thought, if I’m forced to link my account, THEY should recognize my purchases from Steam and give me ownership to them on the PlayStation store. But we know that won’t happen.

My old PS account from the early days of Ps3 was hacked and I reported it to Sony a long time ago when it happen, these assholes didn't respond untill 2 weeks later, in the mean time my card was charged $200, so I called my bank and did a charged back, however, Sony banned my account. I still tried to reconcile this situation a few years back, however, I had to pay them the $200 to reactivate.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This has got to be the most blatant, bald faced lie by Sony ever. This "update" is not about in game security, because PSN does not allow people to report players for "bad in game behavior", so that bit about "protecting players from griefing and abuse", griefing, in this context Mr. H, is actions such as team attacking, throwing the game, and otherwise trolling in general.

So creating and linking a PSN account is completely and utterly useless in that particular context. So clearly the purpose of this "update" is far more nefarious on Sony's part.
