Helldivers 2 Destroyed in MINUTES by Sony

Helldivers 2 was going so well until Sony came along and screwed it all up. The game has now been review bombed like crazy, seeing 100,000 reviews that are mostly negative in the last 30 days with most of them being within the last 2 days thanks to Sony requiring a PSN (Playstation) account being linked in order to be able to play Helldivers 2.

This wouldn't be as much of a problem if their other Steam games which were initially Playstation exclusives required the same thing. It's apparently to do with security which has never been good for Sony so it's a mix of different things making the whole situation a complete mess but Sony deserves the backlash in my opinion. Turns out more Helldivers are on PC and Sony wants that sweet sweet data and account inflation count to please investors. It's all about $$$ to them... Steam PC users are fighting the third Enemy faction(Sony). Steam tanks to Mostly Negative now.. Well deserves! Keep up the fight for Democracy and Freedom!

Sony releasing Ghost of Tsushima on PC 16th of May. Easy boycott. As far as Arrowhead... The community manager is doing a great job for me not buying their games. And that includes Helldivers 2, their earlier games and ANY FUTURE GAMES.

you can't work around it using a VPN, it will ban your account. It's against Sony TOS lol.

When you booted up the game for the first time, it asked. Not demanded. asked. To link PSN using QR code. Or. SKIP THIS STEP. So everyone with a functional brain. Would assume, oh, sweet its OPTIONAL. Just as soyny website said for pc games. PSN account is OPTIONAL. However they stealthly changes that little tid bit on their FAQ to now say some games MAY require it. Filthy. Disgusting practices. To pad their numbers for shareholders BECAUSE it is falling. Hard. Pro censorship, pro thought policing. Going to use an AI ALGO TO BAN PLAYERS BASED ON """BEHAVIORAL""" DATA. They collect key logs. Voice recordings/chat logs. Games. How you play those games. Everything. Your machines data, storage data. Unrelated to playstation information. they are DATA MINING you should you "just make an account, its so trivial and stupid "

How long before PC players have to pay for a PSN subscription to play Helldivers as well? They should have kept it on their console and off the PC platform if they weren't going to do their research. The Arrowhead apologists are among the worst as they completely disregard all those living in Regions where the PSN isn't available and ignore the bold-faced lie about being for "safety". They lost a tonne of subs recently because they can't leave well enough alone. This won't help that.

Arrow Head is just as much to blame as sony for knowingly agreeing to the terms that sony laid out . Knowingly allowing people from over 100+ countries to purchase the game knowing that in the near future they wont be able to have a psn account and not be able to play the game is a straight up scam and those are the facts !

I have a feeling these will be the last "cannon events" for Helldivers 2... They might have to move on to move on to Helldivers 3 early and change publisher if Sony doesn't back down in the next week.
