What more important to you when it comes to comp? Salary or equity?

Make sure the start up is viable. That’s probably the most important thing. I’ve been in the start up world for a few years and made some bad decisions based on products that we’re not ready for market or would never be commercially viable. That’s the key. I know you went over this but I’ve lived it the last three years and I’m just now getting to a place where I’m either going to stay at the start up culture or give in and go to a big corporate culture.

Great video! I’m starting at a company soon - Series C extension last year, currently going through 409A and Series D coming. What % would you recommend I allocate to equity? There are no restrictions on %.
