As an Italian- Canadian and Italian speaker, I find Spanish and Portuguese easier to understand than French. Even though the lexical similarity between Italian and French is 89%, it’s likely due to the greater phonological changes that French underwent over time from Latin vs Italian which is closer to Latin. 😊🇮🇹🇨🇦

As a brazillian portuguese speaker, I could understand 100% of portuguese, spanish and italian, 70% of Romanian and 50% of French. Why does this comment exist? I don't know, why are we alive?

Finalmente alguém nota o romeno. Sempre falam do português, francês, italiano e espanhol e acabam o deixando de lado. Ele também é uma língua românica, embora tenha suas diferenças. E ouvindo esse áudio (não sei se foi por conta da pessoa que estava falando), eu percebi que ele soa bonito.

From my french point of view : french 100%, spanish 100% (well, I learned it), Italian 90%, portuguese 75%, romanian 40%
