Why You Need to Stop Striving for Perfect

Perfect does not exist. The quality of anything is completely subjective so what may be perfect to you is not perfect for somebody else. The truth about perfect is that it is an excuse to not do. You're afraid of judgment so you don't put out your work because you are waiting for it to be "perfect". It is never going to be "perfect" so just put it out!

It's not insecurety it's a true desire to make things better. Too much security by mediocre people is what kills people in the hospitals, airports, makes finances crash, makes terrible food, creates narcissists. Imagine a president that thinks like this guy, would you settle for "good enough" or would you demand great?. Everyone loves what we consider perfect. If you seek perfection you do achieve better results than by not even trying. Each time you try you improve, you get closer to perfection, not further away. Don't punish yourself for failing, punish yourself for not trying.

How to approach this if the perfection that my entire heart, mind and soul craves comes from no outside force but comes instead from my own self. The "Perfection" is still almost impossible to achieve but it isn't due to what others think, its due to expectations I have for myself. Not to be perfect but to be perfectly imperfectly myself.(badly written there). Its not a perfect as much as it is that I want perfectly be true to myself. I feel completely untrue to my soul at all times due the regrets of how I want myself to be based on my beliefs but my failure to stay true to myself in a world that seems ran by fake's, liar's, manipulators, etc. The world around constantly pushes back saying you can't be yourself or you will never make it. BUT FUCK THAT I will make it in my heart but I have no idea how to be true to myself and be successful. This was a rant but, truly I would love to overcome my own opinion of not being true enough to myself.
