A quick note to anyone who actually wants to try to help fight this: do your research, and more importantly, *act like mature and professional adults.* Become informed, and then use that information to back up your arguments in letters to Congress and FCC.

Write professionally, don't just throw a tantrum in an email and send that. That will get ignored, or even worse, make the people reading it angry and make them more likely to push for the laws to pass. Use a mature and reasonable tone.

Government officials like to think they're better than everyone else, more civilized than your average citizen. You know what a high-up politician sees when he looks at a group of angry protesters? Animals. Animals that should be ignored or gotten rid of. So don't use anger, because it won't help. Appeal to their "high-class" attitudes by being professional. They like that, and that pleasant encounter may leave just enough room for them to be swayed.

I can't stress it enough, *be mature and professional.* That's how you get places and accomplish things in this world. Throwing a temper tantrum like a bunch of children will only make things worse.

Some people will argue that the internet needs to be controlled more, but not like this. Every chance they get to make money, they will take it, regardless of what people think or want to do with it. It’s a big part of my life, my school’s life, my family’s life, and my friend’s lives. I can’t imagine not being able to see videos on YouTube because people want to make even more money off of it. This is ridiculous, but it actually is happening.

I have called senators. Emailed the 3 guys who are pushing for the repeal, and signed a lot of ballots. I feel so hopeless. There needs to be a law written against them pushing for this over and over. All they do is make minute changes and run it through again and again. It's exhausting

Honestly, I'm so happy to see that there's a lot of people that are fighting against this. It's what we really need to do, this is like our home and we need to fight for it; WE built the internet together. WE made it a better place. It's true that there are some unpleasant and unwanted content but hey, put that aside, we don't care about that. we MUST stop this. it's not just important, it's extremely important and I am so grateful that a lot of YouTubers or other people in another social media are talking about this. we need to put hand in hand and fight this together!

first of all, schools NEED the Internet for tests and work or else education will basically be gone. secondly, sometimes the internet has saved people's lives by making them happier. yes, there will always be flaws in everything, but this is the land of the free and people deserve to have this for free. they already have to pay enough for other things.

I really rely on the internet. I move every two years because my dad is military, so I have most of my friends online. This would really hurt me, and every other person who relies on the internet.

thanks for standing up mark, if they took the internet away, i could never complete my dream, i would never see u again, and u saved my life, and there is more people out there that need help and we can only get to them throw the internet, i could never be healthy without the internet, you would get less money, i could never hear music again that i want to hear, never get ideas, never be able to buy stuff without a car, but most of us don't have cars! it would just infect us all, but u know, u just got to have faith, do something! it's a sad world
