Incinerator snap/phoenix dive combo with heat rises active is a guaranteed ignite, and it procs sunbracers as long as you melee first. Makes it work consistently in high end content

If anyone is seriously considering using this build often, I highly recommend watching Imagine’s sunbracers 2.0 guide. It goes very in-depth on gameplay strategies and mechanics, even giving avenues for the build to succeed up to grandmaster-level difficulty.

You can use heat rises with it as you don't have to be in the air all the time to get melee energy, just jumping a couple of times also works..

One thing to note. You can snap straight down in front of enemies and almost always ignite/kill for the sunbracers proc

Tbh I would just go with momentum transfer on your gloves to just bypass the rift step and let your grenades feed right back into your melee energy.

Heat Rises is not just for being a floaty butterfly. It is also for buffing Phoenix Dive to damn near OP when synergized with the rest of a good build.

I disagree on the use of healing rift here for the build, what you really want is phoenix dive as that, paired with even half of the snap melee projectile will give you a guaranteed ignition that will proc sunbracers as you started with the melee. Not only that but it also gives you a big bump of x2 restoration that you can easily extend with the fragment as you throw multiple grenades. The combination is, eat your grenade for heat rises, snap enemy and phoenix dive afterwards, the ignition will kill basically any level trash add and start sunbracers off for you and give you restoration x2 so you become nigh unkillable.

For some fragment suggestions try: ember of searing, ember of torches, ember of ashes, ember of empyrean. and then momentum transfer, firepower and bolstering detonation on the arms. Ashes to assets on the helm for fast super regen. Hope that helps somebody :)

quick tip to make the incinerator snap get kills more often. If you apply the scorch from the snap to a target first, and then apply another source of scorch to them afterwords, and that causes an iginition, the ignition will proc the sunbracers perk. Just make sure that the initial scorch on the target was from the snap.

If you don't like doing double special, another option might be verglas curve to freeze your melee victims and leaves your energy slot open for a sweet enhanced incandescent special weapon.

This has been a great build for me! Enjoy playing it, thanks so much for sharing. I might recommend one minor change if you’re struggling to land the incinerator snap for kills to proc sunbracers like I do on some content: Monte Carlo auto rifle in place of Ager’s. The Monte Carlo perk refills that melee ability so quick, giving you plenty of cracks at it.

The amount of people who don't know about this baffles me, but replace Resolve with Empyrean and use Phoenix Dive. You can extend the restoration that Dive gives you by casting snap, then diving immediately after the projectiles leave your hand. The melee kill will extend the restoration, then you have a pretty big window to keep getting grenade/gun kills. If the melee doesn't kill, the scorch from phoenix dive will ignite, which not only extends restoration, but PROCS SUNBRACERS!!! If something is damaged in any way whatsoever by incinerator snap, then later ignites (even from stuff like incandescent) YOU WILL PROC SUNBRACERS. Throwing nades in the air will give you melee and dive back thanks to heat rises + singeing. This is so much more healing and grenade output than a Starfire build, but admittedly less braindead, and worse for boss dps if there's no ads. This loop also requires no mods whatsoever.

Also...Calus Mini-Tool, or any weapon with the "To Excess" origin trait, will boost your discipline & strength on kills when your super is full.

I made a similar build but instead Ember of Resolve, I actually used Ember of empyrean, Heat Rises and Phoenix Dive as mandatory parts of the build, where the loop looks like this: Consume your grenade, to proc Heat Rises, use incinerator Snap and then Phoenix Dive, this makes you get Restoration x2, and bc of Ember of Empyrean ur extend this duration, also it's almost secure the Sunbracers proc bc of the ingnition between Melee and Dive (even doing Phoenix Dive, then Incinerator causes the Sunbracers proc if I'm not wrong). This makes getting Restoration x2 almost all the time, and also making sure your sunbracers proc most of the time, even when phoenix dive it's not up, just get up close to a enemy and look down this makes the melee be more consistent to proc. Try it out. :D

With this version of the build, everythig depends on that first melee. You prep an ad for your snap and a blueberry just takes them out. Very frustrating. However, the version of this build that uses Pheonix Dive you can use your snap, then dive and the added scortch will cause an ignition on any redbar enemy in the game. Very consistent. Plus the healing.

I do like the addition of the Septer, but that can slow ads for blueberries to shoot too.

I literally made a sunbracers build last night I was rocking Monte Carlo with a few different solar specials (ikelos shotgun, halo br, trace rifle all with incandescent).
Never got to use monte in d1 so it's been fun

I’m glad this was put out… I was literally trying to mess around with the old build last night and find out heavy-handed does not work with claws of ahamkara kind of like how it was bugged before with the old mod, and then finally got fixed.
