I would recommend the "opposite" of Freiburger, get a set of different pump cams first, it makes a big difference. Most of the pump cams has different positions you can put them in too, to move the geometry around. It has a lot of possibilities to when and how much fuel you add vs. just a "bigger hole"
The best would be to of course have both several nozzles and cams available, but different pump cams should be enough for most normal applications, it is somewhat more time consuming to change the cam though, since you have to readjust the pump lever after an change, especially big changes. But fine tuning an carburetor usually takes a lot of time anyway.

In most of my hubbys street hot rod motors, the green cam works best in number 1 position .

I love Holleys and I think they are the best. Many people say they are junk. Truth is, they just don’t know how to tune them. I didn’t either until I bought a book about it and read it front to back. I then built a 4bbl for my 67 F100 that would spin all 4 tires with posi, pickup speed going uphill and built a 2bbl 350 for my dads 75 3/4 ton 390ci that got 13 miles to the gallon on a good day and would pick up speed going uphill with 1-1/4 cords of green aspen in the bed.

I saw this full video and secondary power valve tuning really wasn’t discussed. Can this be elaborated on

I never play with the Accelerator cams to cover a bog. I think most of the problem is the transition slot is exposed. They should do a show on drilling the throttle blades to set the T-slot properly

Cams are easier to tune with. Especially since most can be clocked for two or even three different positions on the same cam.

Never at any time are you supposed to have an air gap at the accelerator pump in the idle position, the proper way to adjust an accelerator pump is to manually the press down on the lever coming from the accelerator pump at that point you should have .015" clearance at wide open throttle, Holley does is so you don't over stroke the accelerator pump and ruin the diaphragm
