I'm just like you: I want to learn so many subjects and languages, know more about the topics I already know.
But my main issue is that I procrastinate a lot 😭 it's not a normal procrastination habit, it's something I do without even thinking 😭 and while I waste my time I don't think about it or I don't think about my goals. I wanna learn so much but I can't get rid of this damn habit 😫

I have recently decided to heal my relationship with learning because I am in such a dark place and extremely confused about it, so this is literally the type of video that I needed because I want to learn some things outside of formal education but have been struggling to do so and organize my time. Very thankful for this video ✨🍂

10:05 "Little and often is so much better than 10 hours in one day and then forgetting it a month after."
I'm going to put this up my wall. This reminder is all I need to keep me going.

I’m learning Turkish by myself because a friend of mine lives in Turkey and I would like to visit her. I’ve started like a year ago and now I’m A2 (so the second level) without studying the grammar and the lexical structure: I just absorbed it by watching movies and tv series in Turkish, firstly with subtitles and now mostly without it. I obviously have conversation with turkish people like everyday and this helps me so much. I’m so proud of myself. 🥰

It's amazing how much positive energy a person can spread all over the world via the internet. I never experienced someone giving me so much power to just go on in life regardless of my current circumstances. Please keep on showing us how easy it can be to send some love to somebody. All you need is already in your mind. You just have to pay attention to it. And whenever you notice a positive aspect of something or someone, just intervene in old behavioral processes and begin to express those feelings by actually saying it. Let's make it a habit!
Thank You, Jade!

Honestly, I've been self studying A Level Biology recently and I'm 28. I never went to sixth form when I was younger and only just recently have I really known what I've wanted to do as a career. From knowing this I discovered I need two A grade A levels in order to do the course for it at Uni so I'm having to teach myself and then do my exams as a private candidate. There's never a lot of people that are in my situation for whatever reason so I kind of feel like a fish out of water lol.

1. Set your goals. Is it extrinsic or intrinsic?
2. Find your resources. Mass
3. Set up your framework and learning. Write out every single topic and time for it
4. Time management and habit. It should be like routine. Have a concrete implementation intention: when where and what you have to do.
5. The first step to learning is understanding. Absorb and understand the concepts. Spaced repetition is the way to go. Going over the same thing in regular intervals. Test yourself actively.
6. Practice questions and teach others.
7. Celebrate your success.

I love this video, because your positive attitude towards studying made me re discover the passion for studying only for the knowledge's sake, and forget about the competitive side of it, and thoughts like " I'm never gonna be good enough starting this late "

Jade, I am so so so deeply thankful to you because I have always liked learning but was rarely motivated to pick up a book and get studying. You have helped me a lot. Today as well I was watching your old videos on revision and they are just very helpful. I am not sure how to thank you enough. Also, my casual magic of the day was that you posted this very awesome video (as always). I can't wait to see more videos!
