Many of us are infatuated with the idea of studying, rather than the actual act of studying itself.

Self-studying can indeed be challenging, but these insights are gold! Setting a structured schedule and breaking down complex topics are my go-to strategies. Learning how to learn efficiently is a skill worth mastering. Thanks for these helpful tips.

I'm a magpie and I have depression, so I really struggle with follow through. One thing I do when my enthusiasm is high is to block out realistic times in my schedule when I can work on the new interest. E.g. I make 1hr blocks in the twice a week, when I know I have quiet time to study. That way, there is consistency built in going forward, even when my inital excitement wanes.

That's not what happened in Harry Potter. The "rooms" were from the first movie when going to get the Sorcerer's stone, not to save Ginny.

Wow, Tina! 🌟 This was incredibly insightful and resonated deeply with me. The way you’ve classified the different learning archetypes is so on point, especially the Magpie and the Lonely Octopus! 🐙 It really makes me reflect on my learning journey and how I can overcome the hurdles I often face. Thanks for emphasizing the importance of not just acquiring knowledge, but also applying it effectively. This is a gentle reminder that we all have the potential to master self-studying regardless of our starting points. Can't wait for more enlightening content!!

I most enjoy planning to study and buying pens and notebooks and ipads and courses. I like to watch videos about studying and resist actually studying until I can do it "perfectly".

The love for Naruto Tina has.. it's starting to impact me, just the fact that I missed all of the lessons Naruto has to offer.. I can't believe it.. From the start of the video, I could relate a lot with the Magpie archetype, but then there's moments where I found myself being Anti-Rock Lee. If it's possible? idk, I had to take the quiz to confirm and I am indeed a Magpie for the time being. I'll accept it and try to work on it. Thank you so much Tina!! I can also see the editing in videos taking another route; it's different and fun! Keep up with the great work!

So I just watched this video in addition to another video about a guy who's motivating people to learn mathematics from the ground up and be good at it. The guy is an MIT grad, got an insane Wall Street internship at the age of 18, and is creating his own start up which he pitched to Harvard Business School.

Tina is a youtuber who used to work at Meta and is now starting her business.

In both of these cases I feel like I'm being sold that anyone can be exceptional which I just...don't feel like that's the case. Yes there's gonna be a bit of self loathing because of my mental health and upbringing. It's just that whenever these clearly exceptional individuals tell me that I can be like them I just don't believe it all.

Thank you Tina for including Rock Lee's example, he's the definition of Hard work. He showed us that Hard work can beat talent if you really give it your all. Instead of wasting our time watching videos on how to study we should actually study, we're just attached to the idea of studying but not studying itself (a reminder to myself). I usually don't comment but gotta comment on this one because We share the same love, love for Naruto series! <3 and I'm definitely a lonely Octopus lmao!

o m g, I just can't express how to the point and realistic this video was. I seriously found some really new stuff which no body has covered and it almost felt like she has known me inside out. Bro this was way too good and I appreciate your research and effort that you put into this video.

Disclaimer: Her videos are so good and I'm not pointing out only one mistake and ignoring her point coz she might get confused Devil snare was in first book and rooms to I think she meant Philosopher's stone but mistakes happens lots of love tho coz I've been following you since last 2 yrs and your video has helped me a lot btw I'm from A+ student who now find hard to start everything due to fear of failure and that point hit me hard, lot's of love from India ❤❤

I am a magpie and totally purchased like 5 Udemy courses at once during a sale. However, I also actually follow through. To date, I have over 30 courses in my Udemy library and finished all but 2 (that I never started) because I switched focus after deciding to optimize my time and efficiency.

I am a 3 Day Magpie. If I don't complete a project within those 3 days, I suddenly just lose all motivation to keep going.
