The parents of Oxford High School shooting suspect Ethan Crumbley will face charges in connection with the case, sources told Fox 2 Detroit. The charges against James and Jennifer Crumbley will be announced at a noon press conference. How did the school let this kid back in the classroom after the evidence they had? The parents are responsible for the gun, but the school is responsible for the other students safety. Why did they not check his backpack, and his locker? They suspend little kids for pointing a finger and saying bang from school, and not this? Failure of all involved !!! This kid gave all the signals of this happening, and nobody stopped it.

Parents bought a handgun for their minor son as a Christmas present 4 days before the shooting took place and let him have full access to the gun knowing he has behavioral issues. Parents were called to the school twice regarding their son’s concerning behavior because he had drawn out the shooting in his notebook. Parents never bothered to go through his backpack to see if he brought a handgun with him.

Growing up, my parents were responsible for what I did and not the education system. My parents took parenting seriously as to how I was raised. We were taught to respect others and their property. Please and Thank You. To expect consequences if I had done wrong. I was bullied from my first year of school to my last and I was taught to ignore those who bullied me. I’m a better person for it.
So what has changed that children are raised with so much self entitlement? If something doesn’t go their way, they pull out a gun and open fire. What is wrong with the parents that they are allowing a child to have access to a gun? They need to be held accountable for what their child does. It was a despicable act of cowardice that he did.

I normally wouldn’t be good with this, but this time I am as the first people who were failing this kid were his parents. I grew up with guns and even if one was left out, I’d never touch it as I’d have been killed if I did. Gun safety was HUGE in my house. Clearly this kids parents were in denial that their kid was having real and serious issues and r in major part responsible for this horrific event.

If u buy a gun and your child used it to commit murder you should also be charged with murder. No child should ever be able to get their hands on your gun period.

Id like to know what percentage of parents who's children have taken their handguns and committed crimes with them this year in the Detroit metro area have actually been charged with crimes outside of THIS particular high profile case in general. You know, just so we're being consistent because feelings matter over facts these days.

School STAFF. Should also step up & own up to their responsibility not stopping the bullies of harassment he had enough (some) teachers /staff do more for the bullies not much for the victim.BUT they' ll keep their job's .DAMN PARENTS SHOULD HAVE SIGNED HIM OUT OF SCHOOL.🙏✌

Does this mean Brian Laundrys parents will be charged for Brian using their gun in a suicide?? Or the student down in Texas who did the same in his school that walked free on bail the next day?? How about the auto maker of the SUV that drove through a parade??
