The young suspect in the Oxford, Michigan, school shooting has been charged with terrorism and first-degree murder. Although he is 15 years old, he is being charged as an adult. Ethan Crumbley was arraigned Wednesday on four counts of murder. His father reportedly bought the gun used in the shootings — a 9mm Sig Sauer — just last Friday. The teen posted a photo of the weapon with the caption, “Just got my new beauty today.” Classmate Isaac Fantich said that Crumbley often looked “depressed.”

The use of his childhood photo to display his innocence is sickening.

He’s 15 and they used a 7 year old photo to make him look innocent??

Even if it WAS the officer, those kids did what I believe to be the best thing ever.

The guy who said:
"He said bro, red flag." is a legend

Its incredibly insulting to the victims and families that an old innocent looking photo from when he was 8 is being used and spread around instead of his current mugshot

When we hear “bro” we think of another kid not an actual officer so I applaud them for being so skeptical.

It’s crazy how they didn’t use current pictures of the suspect.

Those kids did the right thing! I would not expect a sheriff to say “bro” in a situation like this. All these young lives lost.

"He said bro, red flag!"

That teen knows what he's doing. Honestly if a school shooter is at my school I wouldn't know what to do.

“He said bro, red flag!”

This is proves that they expect more an adult approach from the police instead of the attempt to try to friend zone in a chaotic situation!
Well done from a teenager who thought as a young adult!

I love how the cop try’s to ease them by saying bro and it does the exact opposite

I actually have mad respect for those students. I'm not mad at the officer for saying "bro", but they did do the right thing by trying to escape because they didn't know if the shooter had been taken down or not and whether that was the shooter or a cop. RIP to those lost!

The kid who tried to disarm the shooter is a true legend. Fly high!
The kids were actually smart when they heard the word 'bro' because it can be a red flag in some cases- glad they got out safely. May the 4 rest in peace.

Those kids were being very smart and brave. When someone tells you something suspicious in a situation like this, it's important for you and others to think about what is happening

"He said Bro..we're outta here!" Whoever that kid is, he seems to be a natural leader.

Even if it wasn’t the officer, the kids were still really smart and brave to even respond.
