I set an alarm that goes off every hour. It prompts me to move and walk for 10-20mins.Moving through out the day makes hitting your daily steps goal easier. Also, move and walk around for 10 min after meals. This way, I burn at least 3000 calories a day just walking to very hour and whenever I eat a meal.
Also, it is easier for an overweight person to burn a lot of calories than a person with a lower fat percentage. I am trying to reduce my body fat percentage as I am overweight and that makes burning a lot of calories easier for me.

Also, the trackers notoriously overestimate calorie burn and that same movement you did 40lbs ago will not burn the same amount of calories as it does now (as it is easier to move lower weight).

Same but I don’t do meat or carbs and the weight is melting off! I transitioned to whole raw plant based foods only in April and I have treated myself to some cooked items but no weight gain only weight loss because sleep important to.
