This banana bread recipe is super moist and easy to make. You

3 bananas
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla

1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour (typo error in the video)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon powder

I followed this recipe. It was almost perfect but it was too sweet. Just half a cup of sugar is fine, 1/4 brown and 1/4 white. Other than that, it was very fluffy and moist.

Just made and it was heavenly superb! Can reduce sugar, I feel 1/2 cup of each sugar is too much.. mayb 1/2 cup is just nice.. I added choc chips.. Perfecto! Thanks

I made this banana cake today it become so soft and moist and it’s very delicious I am really Thankful for this recipe and I don’t have vanilla accent so I put rose this was my mistake because the smell of the rose accent is bad and it taste the rose but the cake is very soft and fluffy I will make it next time...

I add shredded coconut to my bread. I soak it in warm water(not worried about the sugar) and add it. One cup...also 1 cup of Thompson raisins. Just be sure to not add too much water to the coconut because you do not want it to affect the recipe. I usually soak the raisins with the coconut as well. The texture and flavour this adds is amazing! Also, when I can, I add walnuts as well! When I make a double batch, this will make it 3 batches...Try it!

Also, I DO NOT use overripe bananas! If I have to, I do, but I will use half overripe and half good bananas. The first time I did this, I wanted banana bread, but had no overripe bananas! the texture, flavour and smell was AMAZING! I suggest to try with just ripe bananas! No more overripe banana, banana bread for me!!!!

Also, in the video, the finished bread isn't fully cooked, and I run into this problem all the time. What I have done to alleviate this was at about 15 minutes left, I cover the top of the bread with aluminum foil and ADD another 15 minutes to the time. I reduce the heat about 25 degrees as well. After baking has finished, I turn off the oven and let it sit there for about 20 minutes. Now I know adding the coconut can make a difference, but the volume is the same for each cake, and I had this problem before I started adding the coconut. I suppose a bigger pan would help, but I use the biggest loaf pan there is, and it still happens. The foil and extra time does work.

Great first try! Although I didn’t follow the exact recipe (did not use ripe bananas, cinnamon and vanilla essence), the end product was great! Recipe was easy to follow, it is not overly sweet. Bake time was about 30-35 mins and it was ready, would try this recipe again with cinnamon and vanilla essence + walnuts & choco chips
