I get this error when trying to install Windows Server 2012 R2 on a bare metal (no virtual machines) HP DL560 Gen8, using Intelligent Provisioning and a bootable USB (using Rufus) with the ISO downloaded from Microsoft's official "evaluation copy) site. Copying files goes OK, then reboots and asks me to select which OS I want to install (gives 4 options - Standard/DataCentre and Core/with-GUI for each). Then almost as soon as I pick one, it goes to the next screen and throws this error. What do I do??

I am trying to install Windows 10 Enterprise evaluation as part of an exercise. When I follow your instructions here, then appears a blue window with "Boot Normally, EFI VMWare Virtual, etc..., enter setup, reset, shut down...." and I am not able to install. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks

Hello, sorry this did not work for me, it still gave me a an error "Time out; ->EFI Network... and then goes to a blue screen for Boot Manager. How do I resolve this please?

I followed these steps on HYPER-V and it worked, but I also made some changes to the CPU allocation, memory, and disabled secure boot so I don't know if those two also played a role, but I'm able to install a Win10 ISO onto HYPERV without that annoying error message now
