Some folks have fixed it [including myself] by going to
-> Control Panel
-> Programs and Features
-> Turn Windows Features Off or On
and assuring a check-mark is in "SMB 1.0/CIF"
but also un-checking the sub entry of "Automatic Removal."
Having that SMB 1.0 unchecked is a default of latter updates.

Do this on BOTH machines yes or no? On the machine with the shared folder? On the machine trying to access the shared folder? You never say and it is confusing?

Worth to try to enable SMB V1 for Win10: Control Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support
