Awesome! I did what you said and works like a champ! I just blew out the breather and filter but works real well. I think a new breather and filter are next as these are 6(?) years old. It got me going and I was able to pmeae the wife by blowing off the walk though! Thanks Much!!

Tell ya something right now friend: I'm 70 and have been working on large and small 2-strokes my entire life dating back to 1963 when I was 10 and had a Clinton Panther 2-stroke on my go kart. My Echo PB500T has frustrated the hell out of me for weeks now. It is only a few years old and still like new...gets used for 10 minutes about once every 10 days...and I had installed yet another new OEM carb on it this past Fall. I always use non-ethanol regular and Echo oil in the mix and just the other day, it started to suck air into the carb, bog out, shut off, and would have to dismount it and prime the bulb and start all over again. Was at my wits end as the carb is almost new and fuel lines and filter also almost new. Never thought to do this trick with the fuel line sealing issue. Can't thank you enough. Man oh man thank you soo much. I put a new oem carb on my 580- she ran like a champ 1st day out, i worked until it rained and then was sick a few days. I went to finish what I started, she bogged and shut off. I did we exactly what you said and she is running like a champ. Thank you sir🫡

Great information. Most fuel lines come with metal retaining rings. They fit very tightly and don't allow air to get by. In a pinch you can use zip ties as shown here. Thanks again!

Thanks for the video, mine kept stalling at idle. I took out the filter, and blew carb clean through it with the straw... threw it back in and it's starting and running 100% better. Thanks again

Awesome. I went and remove those stupid 90s and put hose directly to the filter and the other just enough to reach the past the rubber thingy. And am back to full throttle, thank you!

Yup, the beast needs petro to run. Nice cheap and easy fix there. No need to keep getting new filters. Another winner!!!! 🏆

I don't know if I have ever left a comment, but I had to thank you for this. I was about to replace the carburetor again! What a lousy design flaw. Thanks so much!

Good stuff bro! I have a 560bt husky that keeps bogging down when throttle increase. Seems like not getting fuel My lines look good and I did a pressure test and holds pressure. I'm gonna blow out my gas filter even though it looks good. I have a carb kit coming cause I don't know really what's wrong with it

Good idea however when customers bring this to us, our quick fix is to first, pump out the old fuel then go into fuel tank through the gas cap opening with safety wire, grab the fuel line and pull up the fuel filter for replacement. Works perfect every time and this takes about 15 mins.

Wow - Have you ever used it? It looks brand new! I am definitely going to your estate sale, unless I die first. Many thanks.

I had the same problem with my blower except the zip ties didn't fix the problem. What I did was is swap out the fuel filter with a Stihl filter part # 0000 350 3502. 3 months later it's still going strong.
