Immediately after watching this I ran my PB half marathon 1:27:49. Also a PB in my 5km and 10km! Thanks for the inspiration Jess.

This video solidifies Jess as one of my favorite YouTubers to follow. Her enthusiasm, especially early on, put a huge smile on my face - especially combined with Andy's dry humor. "Put your arms down."

You're both amazing for different reasons. I'm a huge fan and TRC is fantastic.

It’s great seeing Jess’s progress, you just know she is working as hard as possible. Good to see Andy is human after all and had to dig deep as well. Fully into the times that the rest of us can only dream about Jess!

As a obese person trying to prepare for my first 5k ever, the hardest thing for me is continuous run, i need to start walking after 400m, as i'm out of breath and gasping like an animal at 170bpm. My PB is 45 min, but i'm slowly getting there. This channel is a great treasure of knowlege and motivation. Keep on keeping on!

I'm running my 1st half marathon in just about 3 weeks from now. I'm going to try for under 2:30:00. I can't imagine running it as fast as you! You are awesome! Congratulations on the PB!! 🎉

I think one of the most fascinating things about the running channel is that even though I don’t run half as fast as Jess (quite literally) I can still relate to pretty much everything in this video, from the excitement in the beginning to the mental battle at the end. I just hope you guys continue doing this amazing work and I’m sure Jess has that sub 3h in her. Best of luck ✨

The thing that helps me the most in the final few kilometers is not so much thinking about the "why am I doing this", but more directly "I did not just effin run this far and suffered so much already to not effin finish this now!! 😤 ". The 'why' of running can most of the times not be answered easily, which makes it even more difficult to keep going, so keeping it simple really helps, at least for me! Anyway, crazy crazy running Jess, congratz!! 💯

This was INCREDIBLE! Jess dug in deep, Andy was such a great coach. Honestly this was a great watch and I really enjoy how Andy reassures Jess that he has the situation under control and that Jess can trust him. Such good work you two

I love hearing tom and Sarah encouraging in the background!!
Congrats to you Jess!
It's incredible to see that even with all the training and the crazy paces you are running at, you still struggle just like us slower mortals.
That sprint in the last 100m was 🤯🤯🤯
Takeaway: know your WHY!

"That's not by Hillary Duff! I'm so old" 😂.

So inspiring to watch. Jess, you're going to smash it at Berlin! 💪🏽

Love that Jess feels like she's always on a sprint with her breath and body movement, while Andy is having another casual walk in the park like barely spending energy to move.

Well done Jess on the PB, and well done to Andy for being a good pacer. I loved the bit where Jess was pulling of some crazy antics and being a bit loopy, it reminds me very much of my running-partner, who goes completely into a runners high sometimes when we’re doing our long runs and blurts out all sorts of stuff. Wonderful people! 🎉

Amazing speed - just in awe of you Jess!!!! Andy can you record yourself providing the same encouragement to get me to a 1:55PB? Lots of come on, you can do this motivation. You could do playlists for all sorts of times and distances 🥰

She’s so inpressive, it’s faster than I have ever even sprinted 100m in. Can’t wait to see what she does in Berlin

Congrats on the PB Jess! I'll be running my first Marathon in Berlin in a couple of weeks (although a fair bit slower than you!) as I'm aiming for 3hr 45mn!

Running my first timed HM in 3 weeks and got some good notes from Andy.. Plan is to complete by 2:00:00. My 18km solo runs has been tiring and mentally question myself as to why am I doing this. I am eager to run with a pacer or a group of people who are running at the same pace.

Its crazy to see Jess and Andy make it look so easy till the last 2 - 3 km. Congratulation on your PB!!
