This won’t work on the other common problem fly that look like fruit flys. They don’t care about vinegar. It’s what my apartment has. They are attracted to the smell of rot and light (and actually that looks like the flies in the video)

I put some teriyaki sauce and soy in some soapy water and that worked for me a little. Tape around my trash and keeping it cold and dark worked the best and they are almost gone

Never mind I rewatched the video and saw the red eyes. Those are fruit flies but a lot of people have issues with the look alike that I’m going to leave my comment.
