Best ever Sugar cookie Recipe!!

Disclaimer: raw cookie dough contains uncooked eggs..there is a possibility of getting sick if eaten.

For half a batch (1 1/2 dozen)
Blend in a bowl
2 1/2 C (350g) all purpose flour
1/2 t (2.4g) Cream of Tartar (or baking powder if Cream of Tartar is not available)
1 t (7g) Baking Soda
In a different bowl:
1 C (200g) Sugar
1 C (230g) Room temperature Butter
1 medium Egg
1/2 t (2.5ml) Vanilla
1/4 t (1.2g) Lemon Juice
Combine ingredients into one bowl. Bake 350*F (175*C) for 8-10 min. I cooked mine for 10 min.
For a whole batch (3 dozen)
5 C (700g) Flour
1 t (5g) Cream of Tartar (or baking powder if Cream of Tartar is not available)
2 t (14g) Baking Soda
in a different bowl:
2 C (400g) Sugar
2 C (460g) room temperature Butter
2 medium Eggs
1 t (5 ml) Vanilla
1/2 t (2.5g) Lemon Juice
Combine Ingredients into one bowl. Bake 350*F (175*C) for 8-10 min. I cooked mine for 10 min.
