The BEST chocolate chip cookies; big, soft and loaded! This chocolate chip cookie recipe is wildly popular with kids and adults!

🍴CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
►2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
►1/2 cup granulated sugar
►1 cup light brown sugar (tightly packed)
►2 large eggs at room temperature
►2 tsp vanilla extract
►3 cups all-purpose flour (375 grams), 
►1 tsp baking soda
►1 tsp salt
►2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
note: Recipe updated May 2020. We found the cookies to work best with 1 tsp baking soda instead and 1 tsp salt.

I made these yesterday for my best friend's birthday. Made about 170 .... Cuz she turned 17. Lot of work but they always came out with the same consistency and taste. Fantastic recepie. Thanks Nat! ♥️🐱

Natasha. I just tried these! Thanks they're awesome!

Things I've learned Along the baking:
1. Butter and egg must be room temp.
2. Baking soda as leavening gives more dense and chewy cookies where as Baking powder gives cakey and puffy cookies
3. Cookies come out the oven are not done yet. They set after 10 minutes

Natasha, I'm 14 and I love baking. [especially your recipes] This is the only chocolate chip cookie recipe I use and it never fails to make perfect, soft, moist cookies. Then again, none of your recipes has ever failed! Love you!

This recipe is legit. I have been binging trying out some of your recipes lately. The cookies are BOMB. I love that you don't have to refrigerate them before baking and that it is chewy while still being a bit crunchy on the sides. My youngest sister couldn't keep her hands off.

It's 3am here in Michigan and I just got done baking these chocolate chip cookies, they turned out to be the best I've ever made, my husband suggested we use both milk chocolate and dark chocolate, best idea. I'm not a baker and will make these again soon!

Guys I’ve tried so many cookies recipe every one of them turned out to have a flaw, It just was not what I cook it supposed to taste like. I made these cookies for the first time at the beginning of this year and since then I make them every month because me and my family love them so much. The recipe is just so perfect and cookies always turn out super delisious. Sometimes I put mixed nuts instead of chocolate chips and they are delicious too! Thank you for the recipe ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I halved this recipe and it came out pretty good. I did three different types of Ghirardelli chocolate chips: milk chocolate, semi-sweet and bittersweet 60%. Since I used salted butter, I omitted the salt. Definitely making this again.

OH MY GOD.. I MADE THESE AND THEYRE PERFECT!!!! making each about 45-50 grams I got 30 cookies.. I added butterscotch chips into half of the mix too and they were amazing!

This recipe was full of surprises, pleasant ones. I wasn’t able to use my blender to mix the dough, it’s old like me, so I had to put my back into it. However, a good wooden spoon is like a magic wand.

The recipe makes so many cookies and they tasted amazing! I made 20 cookies that day and 20 more the next day. They were so good my son substituted them for dinner, thank goodness he’s a grown man!

The next day, after refrigeration, I let the dough come to room temperature (mostly), and it was still workable and it produced the same cookies as the day before! Amazing!

They were delicious, big and soft - even three days later. This is the BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve used in years. Thanks for sharing.

Made these a few times the past month and they always came out so delicious; the time I made them, I used the hand mixer, and they came out just like they do in the video, thick and soft. I'll be making them for my step-dad's birthday as well. Thanks again for this recipe and this is without a doubt my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe.
