Ingredients
-2¾ cups all purpose flour
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-½ teaspoon baking powder
-1 cup of butter softened
-1½ cups of (granulated) white sugar
-1 egg
-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Nothing beats homemade. 😊 Make a large batch and freeze for baking when you want. Much more cost effective, too!

This recipe makes a lot of cookies plenty for sharing and freezing for when you're craving a cookie or two. I rolled them in sugar with non pirels included then flattened with the bottom of a glass and sprinkled more sugar and non pirels on top. They came out delicious! 10 minutes for a crispy cookie.

I use 1 1/2 cup of Powdered sugar and 2 1/2 cups of flour.. I also add 1 tsp of Almond extract ❤

That's the basic recipe I use for sugar cookies. But if you are making GF with a rice flour blend use 1 egg per about 1 1/4 c flour. So this recipe with closer to 3c would require 2 eggs. Everything else is the same.
