Thank you I have a different monitor, but the term overscan was the problem all along. I have been dealing with this problem for far too long and your video helped end years of suffering.

You're the best guide online man. 6 years on this video, but still works wonders. I had this issue for a month now, and I'm now getting bothered by it. tried to search and this one helped me. You saved me from frustrations, THANK YOU!

Thank you a million. I watch 20 videos until I found yours. Graphics card What? Yeah, I know. I did what you told my to and it worked. Different set for different TV, but it worked. Don't ever take this video down. You rock! I will save this to my list.

Thank you!! We had a power surge at the office and all of a sudden the edges of my screen were cut off. It was driving me crazy! Your suggestions did the trick. :-)

Thank you so much, I've had this setup for years and when I came back after the computer has been off for a few months, this was happening. I had no idea I had this setting on my old LG screen, it's the first time this has happened to me for the 6 years I've had the screen.

You nailed it! Samsung tech support rep said the problem was with the PC. Not true. Used "Screen Fit" option on TV and immediately this problem was solved.

Thank you!! I've been searching through so many different display settings, didn't even think to hit any of the buttons on the monitor itself. Turns out there was even an auto-adjust function on my Dell that painlessly fixed the issue I've been bothered by for weeks.

I have a Samsung 27 and have had this problem a long time and have tried everything to fix it.Now I go to menu, picture, scroll down to image size, and change the screen format from 16:8 to 4:3 which gives me the perfect screen, thanks for the tip.( Monitor menu).
