Armani Luminous Silk is my holy grail foundation! It is the perfect color match for me, 3.75. So many other brands are very yellow toned, Armani has shades that are truly cool toned. Also I love the natural finish of this foundation. Their concealer is great too. I didn’t love their eye tints, I felt like they were barely there on the eyelid but I’ll have to play around with them again.

i just got a sample of this. the first couple of times i wore it, i didn’t moisturise enough - it clung and separated and looked nasty. i figured “oh, this is just my lot in life with foundations that aren’t extremely dewy”

i tried again with much more thorough prep, applied it with a smaller stippling brush and worked it into the skin section by section. my mind was BLOWN - i had a flawless, satiny finish all over. 13 hours later, after a full day of work and a brief outing to the bars, it still looked great. it had faded a little, but not worn off, sunk into lines, or seperated and gone “lizardy.” it also felt completely weightless on the skin, which is a big deal for me - i cannot tolerate feeling tacky, heavy, or “wet” when i have makeup on.

i have only used cheapo makeup so trying this was mind blowing. seriously. wow. for reference - i have quite dry skin, with heaps of texture from acne scarring and dehydrated flakiness. i’m also super pale (NW10). i’m so stoked with this foundation

Glad I found your review. I got a mini sample size with my Sephora order. OMG got the perfect perfect perfect shade too! (And they only offered two shades - lucky me!) Any ways, this is a perfect foundation for dry and aging skin and for fine lines and light wrinkles. It did NOT settle into my lines at all. Nada! I have tried just about every foundation I could over the past two years. I was hesitant because it’s so pricey! But it’s so worth it! I’m over 50 by the way, and this feels like a second skin AND it holds up all day too! Now I’m dying to try their concealer and such. Sorry for the long comment. Thank you so much for your in-depth review. You are such a nice and beautiful young lady.
